Cow magnet

The term "rumen magnet" refers to a rod-shaped magnet that can be placed in the rumen of cattle. Treating sick animals can be very expensive, and if inflammation is not treated in time, forced slaughter may be necessary. Inflammation is difficult to detect; typically, farmers notice changes in the animal's behavior. The cow becomes anorexic, feverish, and its movements slow down, often spreading its legs apart. A rumen magnet is a small, powerful multipolar magnet, not a simple north-south pole magnet rod. This magnetic rod is made up of a plastic or acid-resistant steel unit and magnets. The magnets used in making the rumen magnet are resistant to acidic and alkaline environmental effects. The device is swallowed by the animal. The magnet attracts metal pieces, preventing them from migrating in the animal's digestive system and reducing the risk of internal injuries.
