AlNiCo bar magnet 7mm x 25mm
AlNiCo magnets are alloys of aluminium, cobalt, nickel, copper and iron. The ratio of these components determines the properties of the finished magnet . It is a structurally stable, hard and brittle alloy in terms of its physical properties. The alloy is formed by casting, with the help of sand cores inserted into the casting tool, holes can be easily formed in AlNiCo alloys, and individual shapes can also be cast. Despite their structural stability, AlNiCo type magnets have a low coercive force, so their magnetic properties can be negatively affected by external environmental factors.
Another great advantage of AlNiCo magnets is their high working temperature, which allows them to be used at up to 550°C.
